Mr. Herhold is a litigation partner in the firm's Palo Alto office where he specializes in patent infringement, trade secret and other intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. He has substantial trial experience in both federal and state courts throughout the country. He has litigated cases involving a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, Internet, semiconductors, relational databases, photolithography, medical devices, and other electrical, mechanical and biotechnology devices and methods.
Mr. Herhold has been recognized by his peers and selected by Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top intellectual property litigators in California in 2009. He is active in the legal community, serving on the board of directors of the Silicon Valley Campaign for Legal Services and frequently speaks at events and seminars throughout the country and internationally.
