We design our 10 week program to simulate life as a Townsend associate by providing you with substantive work assignments such as drafting discovery pleadings and investigating infringement issues. We also make every effort to include you in other events relating to your assignments, such as conference calls, client meetings, depositions and court hearings, to ensure that you receive a genuine understanding of the context of your work.

Our Guiding Hand
Your assigned mentor is an attorney that will personally advise, direct and monitor your summer program. There are also special classes specifically tailored for summer associates that are part of Townsend's customized training program. Most importantly, we encourage you to seek out and get acquainted with all of our partners, associates and staff to enhance your appreciation of our unique culture and work philosophy.
