David helps lead Townsend’s fund operations strategy and execution, serving as Chair of the Valuation Committee. Since joining in 2015, he has driven fund administration initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational capabilities.​

Prior to Townsend, David was a Financial Analyst at Forest City Enterprises, focusing on financial planning and analysis, and an Audit Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in the financial services industry.​

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
