Gutemberg De Almeida Jr. (“Gute”) joined Townsend in 2026 and currently serves as a Senior Analyst within Townsend’s Special Situations Group. He is responsible for evaluating, executing, and managing investments across co-investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations, fund secondaries, and asset management.

Prior to joining Townsend, Gute was an Associate at Pepper Pike Capital Partners, where he focused on the acquisition, underwriting, and asset management of value-add multifamily investments throughout the Midwest. Previously, he worked at Capital Automotive Real Estate Services, where he supported the underwriting and asset management of a national automotive dealership real estate portfolio. His responsibilities included evaluating sale-leaseback transactions, performing credit analysis, and monitoring portfolio performance.

Gute earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, with minors in Real Estate and Portuguese & Brazilian Studies. While at Notre Dame, he was a member of the University’s NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse program.
