Prashant Tewari is a Senior Managing Director of Townsend Group and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and Global Macro Strategy Committee. He leads Townsend’s global investment strategy, bringing extensive experience across real estate investment, capital raising, and banking.​

Before joining Townsend in 2014, Mr. Tewari was a Co-Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Alliance Bernstein, overseeing a $2.5 billion global fund investing in REITs and other real estate securities. His prior experience includes roles with McKinsey & Co. and Standard Chartered Bank’s Asia real estate group. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.​

Mr. Tewari earned an MBA with honors from the Booth School of Management at the University of Chicago, a post-graduate diploma from the Indian Institute of Management (Director’s Medal for academic excellence), and a BS from the Indian Institute of Technology.
