Mr. Kochis currently provides investment advice to US and global institutional investors having real asset investment programs totaling more than $15 billion in real estate, timber, agriculture, natural resources, and infrastructure.​

Prior to joining Townsend in 1998, Mr. Kochis was a real estate attorney and an Economic Development Specialist in the Office of the Mayor for the City of Akron, Ohio.​

Mr. Kochis is an author, lecturer, frequent speaker serving on numerous industry and local boards and committees. He received a BS in Public Policy Management from the University of Akron and a JD from Case Western Reserve University.
