Scott leads Townsend’s Special Situations team in the United States, deploying the firms discretionary fund and separate account capital through LP/GP-led secondaries, platform and entity investments, recapitalizations, programmatic joint ventures and co-investments. ​

Since joining in 2015, he has deployed over $3 billion of equity globally across traditional and alternative real estate asset classes. ​

Prior to Townsend, Scott held investment roles at STAG, AEW and Weingarten. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
