Tod Akovic is a Senior Vice President in the Special Situations group, which invests the firm’s discretionary fund and separate account capital globally.  His work spans LP- and GP-led secondaries, platform and entity investments, recapitalizations, programmatic joint ventures, co-investments, and debt-oriented strategies.  In addition to executing new investments, he also maintains significant asset management responsibilities across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Townsend in 2019, Mr. Akovic worked at RMS Investment Group, where he was responsible for investment allocations and real estate underwriting.  He began his career at DDR Corp., now Curbline Properties, a NYSE-listed company (ticker: CURB), where he was primarily focused on capital markets, joint venture, and asset management initiatives.
